Yael Stone
Stone was born in Sydney and grew up in the city. She was educated at the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) as well as the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone began her acting career as young, and was featured in films such as Me Myself I and the mini-series The Farm. Stone was primarily involved in theatre. In 2008, at the Sydney Theatre Awards, she took home the prizes for Best Newcomer and Best supporting actress for her work as the character The Kid. In addition, she worked on TV with supporting roles, such as All Saints and Spirited. In 2010, she appeared in The Diary of a Madman. Her performance earned her another nomination in the Sydney Theatre Awards as Best Supporting Actress. The Diary of a Madman was staged by the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. In March 2011, she returned to Sydney to take on the principal parts as a lead actress in A Golem Story (a story about the golem), Summer of the Seventeenth Doll and As You Like It.
